Nusa Del Rey is owned by The Three Decades… Michelle, Dave and Rachel. We share a love of travel, hospitality and people.

Why the Three Decades? Well, its quite simple, we span across 3 decades of life, with exactly 10 years of age separating us from each other.

The three decades

Rachel

Rachel is the youngest of us all! Originally from the UK, she migrated to Australia 12 years ago, currently living in Sydney. She found her love for diving in nearby Nusa Penida and has been exploring the oceans ever since. Her Superpower is making every moment count and providing every Guest the best experience. As a serial travaller who has mastered the art of work sabatticals, she knows a thing or two about what makes for a great vacation.

Michelle

Michelle is the “wisest’ of us all (aka oldest), who will also answer to the names “Rachel’s Mum’ or Daves “Mother-in law” Born in the UK, she spent the last 15 years living and working across Europe and most recently in Sydney, before settling into the harmony of life in Bali. And her Superpower? Seeing the best in every person and the possibilities in every new day.

Dave

Dave is the next Decade; Aussie born and bred and also Rachel’s Husband, he holds the record from the 3 of us as having travelled to the most countries. An avid diving instructor, he is guaranteed to geek out over even the smallest ocean creatures. Dave brings the passion for great drinks and cocktails, but his real Superpower is his conversation... Whatever the language, wherever we are, whoever we are with, Dave will always spark a conversation and connection with the people he meets.
